Afternoon Personality
CL Smoove, (aka Bishop Clarence Johnson) has been in the radio industry since 1985 working as a DJ and a production artist. He has been an air personality with The New Praise Radio since 2011.
In addition to being an air personality, CL Smoove is also involved in ministry. He and his wife, Prophetess Shannon Johnson have been preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ since 1996. They were the pastors of the Pentecostal Church of Christ in Philadelphia PA until, by the movement of God, they started the Manna From Heaven Ministry in Clarksville TN. He is the Bishop and Vice-President of the Ark Of The Covenant Ministry and Apostle Julia Bennett is the President. Bishop and Prophetess Johnson have launched Manna II: A Mobile Ministry as well as The Ark Of The Covenant Ministry in Europe.
CL Smoove is currently a nurse and has been in the nursing field for twenty-five years. CL Smoove earned his Associates Degree in Pre-Law with Highest Honors. He will earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law and graduate Magna Cum Laude in late 2019. He is a teacher, motivational speaker and mentor He has provided spiritual guidance to civilian and military personnel throughout the world and has earner numerous awards for his dedication to ministry and is the author of the book 8 x 10.
Apostle Desireé Andrews, serves as the Ministerial Advisor for New Praise Radio. She is also the midday air personality, host of Kingdom Living.
Apostle Andrews is a native New Yorker who first accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior as a teenager. She lived in Junction City, Kansas via the military and while stationed at Ft. Riley, was deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. There in the desert of Saudi Arabia she accepted her call into ministry. In 2009, under the leadership of Bishop (then Apostle) Rozell Tottress, Apostle Dez was ordained in Leavenworth, Kansas. In 2018 she and her husband, Angelo K. Andrews, were affirmed as Apostles
Apostle Andrews has birthed several ministries: Christian Literature Distribution, now known as Kingdom Literature Distribution (KLD), Morning Inspiration, Midday Praise - heard Monday thru Friday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. EST on New Praise Radio, Kingdom Living Today (KLT) - heard every Wednesday at 12 noon and Sunday at 1 p.m. EST also on The New Praise Radio, iKingdomTV, the ministry's television channel which can be seen on Roku, YouTube channel, and the Kingdom Business Ministries' website.

DJ Ms. Eclectic is the Music and Program Director for New Praise Radio. Texas native, Shantelle “DJ Ms. Eclectic” Thompson does not follow any one system, instead, selects and uses the best elements of all, standing in the true definition of "Eclectic". With her creative stylings, she is establishing her lane in the Urban Christian Industry infusing old school and new music, creating an exhilarating experience whether On Air, DJing or Emceeing!
Eclectic has been blessed to share the stage with breakthrough artists like Erica Campbell, Kierra Sheard and Tamar Braxton. She’s also DJ’d events at the SXSW Music and Media Conference, the world's leading music industry event, and shared her talents during the Stellar Awards Weekend. She is slated for the biggest Gospel Concert of its kind “God’s House of Hip Hop Summer Fest”. (DJ Ms. Eclectic is the only female DJ announced to hit the stage) and she recently won Female DJ of the Year for the Gospel Hip Hop Awards.
Eclectic currently resides in the Atlanta Metro area and owns the faith based entertainment company “Eclectic Music Enterprise”. Eclectic shares her talent on radio as a Radio Personality and Music Director on New Praise Radio (BDS Monitored Station) with her radio show, “The Mixtape w/ DJ Ms. Eclectic”. She is also affiliated with numerous Internet/HD FM radio stations and makes recurring DJ appearances on Radio One.
She has a passion to inspire young women to know there is a layer beyond what the media portrays and to dig deep within your artistic fabric to go for what God has for you.

DJ Whizz is one of the region’s most respected DJs. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he started spinning in the mid 80s at local house parties. After honing his craft and developing a following, DJ Whizz began to accept requests to spin at “legendary” Philly block parties, weddings and other special events. At the same time, he appeared as a special guest DJ on a number of Philadelphia radio shows, including the Come Up Show, on the former top ranked Power 99 FM.
Having received his salvation as a child, it was in his late thirties that he accepted God’s calling upon his life and was moved to use his gifts solely the glory of God. Since that time, God has breathed new life into DJ Whizz’s
business, Whizz Productions, LLC. DJ Whizz’s gifts have been expanded to include audio engineering and production, web design and graphics. He has been blessed to record some of the area’s most gifted artist in his home studio, which he designed. A loving and devoted husband and father, he is a Godly example to his family and all who know him.
An active worshipper, DJ Whizz is a member of the Sight and Sound Ministry and Marriage Ministry at Tabernacle Baptist Church under the vision and leadership of Pastor Corey L. Jones.

Muzeel Fairley
Muzeel's Quartet Mix - Saturdays 2 P.M. ET
Biloxi, Mississippi native, Muzeel Fairley hosts Muzeel’s Quartet Mix on New Praise Radio. The program plays a mix of traditional quartet hits as well as oldies.
Mr. Fairley was born to the proud parents of Alec and Cleo Fairley. As the oldest of nine children, Muzeel developed a love for music at a very early age and is an accomplished guitarist, trumpeter, and vocalist
His music ministry began at a small independent church in Gautier, Mississippi where he was Minister of Music. He was instrumental in organizing and directing an accapella men’s quartet where he was what he calls a "utility vocalist", (singing lead or any one of the background vocals) in the absence of one of the quartet members. Muzeel's e journey in evangelism began when he became part of a team that visited nursing and retirement homes, as well as those behind prison bars.
In 1996, Muzeel moved to Atlanta Georgia and in 1998, became minister of music at a local church. In 2005 he began to apply himself to the ministry where-in he was sure that God has called him, as a solo artist.
Muzeel has ministered across the country appearing at weddings, revivals, memorial services, conferences, anniversaries, gospel showcases and other Christ centered events.He is currently promoting his latest CD "His Blood Covers Them All" (released in March 2015) on the independent label "Take One Records".
